A Cintas delivery truck rear-ended a RIPTA bus on route 146 North Wednesday afternoon, sending four people to hospital.
Traffic ground to a halt after the collision as tow trucks made their way onto the scene of the accident. Of the four people removed from the bus, one was a driver trainee who was shadowing the driver. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Authorities are investigating what caused the accident.
