JAMESTOWN, R.I. (AP) – Police in Rhode Island are accusing an executive at jewelry-maker Alex and Ani of stealing Jet Skis with three other people, including two who were seriously hurt when their Jet Ski crashed.
Jamestown police charged 31-year-old Ryan Bonifacino of New York City on Aug. 3 with misappropriation of a boat. He is scheduled to appear Friday in Newport District Court.
Bonifacino is chief marketing officer and senior vice president, digital, at Alex and Ani, based in Cranston. Bonifacino and company officials didn’t return messages Thursday from The Associated Press.
WJAR-TV reports that Jamestown police accuse Bonifacino of breaking into a house, throwing a party and stealing two Jet Skis with three other people – including two seriously injured when their Jet Ski struck a rock on Aug. 2.
