Pawtucket Police say they have arrested a Massachusetts man for carrying a loaded firearm into a Pawtucket Red Sox game Saturday night.
Police say at 8:30p.m. 68-year-old Scott Guild of Mansfield was arrested after a female witness allegedly saw Guild pick up the gun after it dropped from his waist and then proceed into the men’s bathroom.
Two officers confronted Guild in the bathroom, where they seized a knife blade in excess of three inches, a .308 handgun and three additional magazines of ammunition.
Police determined Guild had a legal license to carry a concealed weapon in Massachusetts, but not in Rhode Island.
Guild was charged with carrying a weapon without a permit.
