State Police tell WPRO News that their police dive team is examined the underwater portion of the jetty at Salty Brine Beach to find any evidence of what cause the mysterious blast over the weekend.
Lieutenant Colonel Todd Catlow said the divers were already scheduled for a training day Wednesday and opted to send the divers to observe the jetty instead.
Investigators found nothing.
The mysterious blast launched a 60-year-old Connecticut woman into the air, sending her to the hospital.
Investigators immediately ruled out the possibility the explosion was the result of foul play.
