PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Rhode Island’s T.F. Green Airport has its first ever link to Europe.
A Condor Airlines flight arrived Thursday evening from Germany, and a return flight left two hours later.
The airline plans twice a week service between Frankfurt and Providence.
The Condor flights are seasonal. The airline says the service will run until Sept. 3 and will resume next spring.
It’s the second expansion of service at the airport this month.
Earlier, Cape Verdean airline TACV began service between Cape Verde off the coast of Africa and Green.
