Authorities announced late Friday afternoon that the man suspected of shooting four people on River Street in Woonsocket turned himself into police custody.
19-year-old Zackary Alvarado is charged with four counts of felony assault with a dangerous weapon.
Police said they responded to multiple reports of shots fired around 1:16a.m. and found four individuals with gunshot wounds in a parking lot near Aly’s Bar. All four were transported to the hospital.
The gunshot wounds are not considered life threatening.
