The Mayor said the $696 million budget is built for the long term, investing in innovation and infrastructure. The budget expands parking meter coverage in the city, as well as investing in the city’s ports to expand shipping. Elorza also touts shrinking the walking radius for school from 2.5 miles to just two through city busing.
