Providence Police have concluded the driver of the RIPTA bus which struck and killed a nine-year old Ani Emdjian is not at fault.
Footage from the RIPTA dash cam shows the bus traveling in a westerly direction on Smith Street and Emdjian running across the street. The girl was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital where she later died
Police say the driver, Eric Seaburg was driving under the speed limit when the accident occurred, and further testing showed he was not under the influence of any intoxicants at the time.
