A Providence man is in the hospital after being shot outside a house on Wesleyan Avenue.
A neighbor who spoke on the condition of anonymity said she heard a commotion outside her window and saw a man being carried away in a stretcher.
“About two to three houses down I saw one ambulance truck and one man on the rescue stretch and a woman screaming that he was shot.”
WJAR reports the man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
