Woonsocket Police report a man was taken to the hospital after reports of shots fired Tuesday afternoon.
Police say they responded to reports of gunfire on Diamond Hill Road around 1:30PM. When officers arrived they learned an altercation had taken place outside house number 419. The male victim was taken to Landmark Medical Center and then transferred to Rhode Island Hospital.
The case remains under investigation.
