TF Green and State officials announced the airport will soon be providing nonstop flights to Portugal via their newest international flight partner Cabo Verde Airlines.
Airport officials announced the new twice weekly flight would begin its services on June 2 on through early September with ticket prices that could go for as low as $299 depending on availability. Flights will depart on Tuesdays and Fridays, with a Wednesday being added during peak travel season.
This is the second international service to announce a partnership with TF Green. German airline company Condor announced it would be providing nonstop flights to Frankfurt starting this summer.
Kelly Fredricks of TF Green stated the airport is looking to expand its international options even further teasing that they were in talks with an unnamed company to provide flights to Shannon Ireland.
