Rhode Island-based jewelry maker Alex and Ani announced they would be expanding their retail presence by opening a dozen stores nationally.
The jewelry giant had been readying itself for further expansion after opening a new 100,000 distribution facility in East Greenwich late last year. The facility will now operate as its main product hub for all of its operations. The company will also be expanding its corporate office in Cranston.
Alex and Ani began their growth in 2015 by opening a new store in Aspen Colorado a week ago.
The company already has 45 locations open in 20 states, in addition to 1,500 retail partners worldwide.
