New England Patriots Defensive Tackle Vince Wilfork lent a helping hand to Massachusetts State Police after winning the AFC Championship game by rescuing a woman from an overturned Jeep.
Massachusetts State Police shared a picture taken overnight Monday on social media showing a jeep vehicle on its side with a caption saying “Vince Wilfork lends [a] hand to Massachusetts Police on his way home from [the] Patriots AFC Championship win.”
NESN reports police arrived at the scene of the accident around 1:50am on route 1 in Foxboro. The woman who was driving the Jeep was unable to get out of the vehicle, so a state trooper held the door open while Wilfork reached in and pulled her out with one hand.
The driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.
