Providence fire crews responded to a call of a burning home on Calla Street Thursday afternoon, where they also contended with freezing temperatures in addition to the blaze.
By the time firefighters arrived the house was already engulfed in flames. It took crews between 15 and 20 minutes to put the flames out.
One woman was injured and treated on-scene but is expected to be okay.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but initial reports say it does not appear to be suspicious.
