Several owners of the Boston Red Sox are looking to purchase the Pawtucket Red Sox, according to The Boston Globe.
The sale price is not known, nor are the members of the Red Sox ownership looking to purchase the Rhode Island minor league team.
Ben Mondor purchased the Pawsox in 1977 and remained the owner until his death in 2010.
