Gas prices continue to drop in the Ocean State with prices dipping below three dollars a gallon.
According to a report by AAA, the average price for regular unleaded gasoline was $2.98; three cents down from a week ago. The price across the state ranges 33 cents from $2.86 to $3.19.
AAA says that since June, the price of crude oil has fallen 35% and projects the price will continue to drop as the oil supply stays strong and the demand for fuel goes down.
