You’ll soon be able to stop at the sign of the lemon… in New York and Puerto Rico.
Del’s Lemonade announced that they’ll open a new store in Buffalo, New York; have pushcarts near Niagra Falls, and will begin operating a lemonade truck in New York City this summer. Del’s also recently opened a location in Puerto Rico.
Joseph Padula, Del’s Executive Vice President, said a man who tasted Del’s on a visit to Rhode Island will be opening the Del’s store inside the Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo. Padula said the man already runs a small operation that sells snacks like candy-coated popcorn. The other New York operation was spearheaded by a Rhode Island native.
The Puerto Rico location is the product of two years of talks with another person who had expressed interest in opening a Del’s.
Besides Rhode Island, Del’s has locations in places like Las Vegas, Miami and California. They’re currently in talks to open another location in Washington, D.C.
