The annual Hasbro Children's Hospital Radiothon was a huge success thanks to the generosity of the local community.
Hosts spoke with patients and family members live on Rhode Island's Cumulus stations Thursday and Friday, spreading the word about the premium care Hasbro provides for children across Rhode Island, New England and other parts of the country.
In less than 48 hours, the Radiothon raised $436,270 for the hospital, which provides care to all children, regardless of their family's financial status.
The Hasbro Children's Hospital Radiothon, sponsored by Cumulus, has been an annual tradition since 2004.
