FAMILY FUN: Roger Williams Park Zoo’s will hold its annual Egg Scavenger Hunt Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can pick up a scavenger hunt card and daily schedule when they enter, follow clues to collect eggs and turn in their eggs for a goodie bag. Other activities (in the upper zoo) taking place throughout the day include a Fun & Games Area, a Play Doh Creation Station, entertainment, animal encounters, and animal “egg” enrichment, where various animals receive special egg shaped treats! More information about the Zoo visit www.rwpzoo.org. The egg hunt is free with Zoo admission.

MIRANDA SINGS: YouTube sensation Miranda Sings will be at CCRI’s Bobby Hackett Theater in Warwick at 7:30 tonight. Admission is free. The show is a one-woman variety act by Colleen Ballinger and her YouTube alter-ego Miranda Sings. There will be music, audience participation, lots of laughs and a few magic tricks. THEATER: “Social Creatures” continues its run at Trinity Rep. The “bloody funny” play centers on a group of people attempting to survive the zombie apocalypse of lore. “The Real Thing” at the Gamm Theatre in Pawtucket also continues this weekend. The Tom Stoppard gem examines love in its various forms. The WIlbury Group’s “Body Awareness” starts up this weekend at a new performance space at the Southside Cultural Center on Broad Street in Providence.
FOOD: Looking ahead, Ina Garten, host of Food Network’s “Barefoot Contessa” will be in Providence for an interview and Q&A with owner and head chef of Al Forno, Joanne Killeen. Garten will take stage at PPAC on Tuesday at 7: 30 p.m. Read my full interview with Ina here.
MUSIC: Celtic Woman performs at PPAC tonight at 8 p.m. The all-female group combined adult contemporary and traditional Gaelic sounds for a musically and visually stunning result. Celtic Woman has two top 10 albums and has sold more than 6 million CDs and DVDs worldwide. Tickets range in price from $42 to $102.
