One person is dead after a late night car accident in Warwick. Police say 19-year-old Timothy Torres crashed into a tree around 11:46 on Tuesday night.
Torres was trapped in the vehicle after the crash on 1785 West Shore Road. According to Warwick police he had to be extradited from the car. Torres was the sole driver/occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is currently under investigation. Police say they are focusing on if speed, alcohol and roadway conditions were possible factors. Torres was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
