State Police have arrested vice president of finance for Twin River casino on child pornography charges.
Suneet Talpade, 51, of Wallingford Conn., was arrested after the State Police Computer Crimes Unit in conjunction with Twin River Security and the Twin River IT Department discovered evidence of child pornography on Talpede’s work laptop.
“There was child pornography found on his laptop computer. The investigation, the forensic analysis is still ongoing to determine exactly how much and exactly what type but there was sufficient cause to charge him as a result of that initial investigation,” said State Police Lt. Brian Casilli.
Suneet was arrested on Monday and arraigned at the Lincoln State Police Barracks. He has been released on $10,000 personal recognizance provided he has no contact with children and has limited internet access. If convicted Suneet faces up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Twin River says Suneet has been suspended without pay as a result of the investigation. He has served as Twin River casino’s vice president of finance since 2005.
