FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the 14-year-old boy and 29-year-old man shot and killed near a Fall River park.
The Bristol district attorney’s office on Wednesday said 14-year-old Miguel Sanjurjo and Jovaughn Antonio Mills, both city residents, were found by police responding to 911 calls about gunfire at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the vicinity of Griffin Park.
Both were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
A third victim, a 19-year-old man, whose name has not been made public, went to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been announced.
