Independent candidate for governor Joe Trillo is defending his conduct during an incident with an ex tenant and employee 2 years ago.
Trillo says he regrets his choice of words but not his sentiment after he was video taped making an obscene gesture and threatening to go after the disability benefits of former tenant, who sicced the DEM on Trillo over the dumping of motor oil on his property in Warwick.
That video aired Thursday night on NBC10. Trillo joined WPRO’s Tara Granahan to discuss the incident and the report.
