Former Providence Mayor Joseph Paolino tells WPRO’s Tara Granahan that he believes that Blue Cross is violating a tax stabilization agreement with the city by moving workers to another facility in East Providence.
Paolino had previously filed suit against Providence in 2015 claiming that Blue Cross was in violation of the TSA by not maintaining a minimum number of employees agreed to in their downtown headquarters. That lawsuit was dismissed. The lawsuit can be viewed below the podcast on this page.
