For the fifth time this year, a sample of mosquitoes tested by the Rhode Island Department of Health has tested positive for West Nile Virus.
The sample was taken from mosquitoes collected in West Kingston. The DOH says the finding is not unexpected as neighboring states have also recently found positively tested mosquitoes.
The public is reminded to use bug spray and wear long sleeve-shirts and long pants when outdoors during the evening.
