Rhode Island State Police announced Tuesday they had arrested a Warwick man on charges of possessing child pornography.
James Norman, 52, was arrested after State Police determined child pornography was being stored in an email account registered to his name. After receiving a search warrant, State Police seized several pieces of digital media from his home and determined he was the owner of the pornography.
It was also discovered Norman is a licensed social worker who has been employed as a therapist in both Providence and Cranston.
Norman was ordered held on $50,000 and is not allowed any access to the internet or contact with children under the age of 16.
