The smash Broadway hit musical “Hamilton” returns this fall to the Providence Performing Arts Center.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 5 online and in-person at the theater box office at 10:00 A.M. People can start logging in at 9:00 A.M. to an online “waiting room”.

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Hamilton” recounts the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton in song and hip-hop. It was nominated for 16 Tony Awards, winning 11, and was the 2016 winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The first national tour began in 2017, and the first run at PPAC in 2019 found ticket buyers lining up before dawn.

This year, the theater is offering “Tips for Ticket Seekers”.

The show runs from November 30 through December 12.
