PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Democratic U.S. Sens. Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island voted for both articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Trump won impeachment acquittal Wednesday in the U.S. Senate, bringing to a close only the third presidential trial in American history.

Reed says Trump was was wrong to “invite foreign interference in our democracy” and wrong to try to stonewall the investigation.

Whitehouse said the facts are clear, the conduct impeachable and the obstruction unprecedented. Trump claims he did nothing wrong.

Reed and Whitehouse need to be sent packing this coming election. Neither did anything for the people of Rhode Island during the past three years. They cost us plenty while they carried on their stupid attack like a bunch of morons against our President.
