
Years of studying, practicing, rehearsing and… pain for 24-year old Maude Gorman.
The Hingham, Massachusetts native spent years trying to win her title of Miss Plymouth County while battling anxiety, depression and PTSD.
So what would make her give it all back? Gorman tells WPRO’s Tara Granahan while she has survived a gang rape at the age of 13, teenage obesity and the dangerous years of anorexia, one thing she wouldn’t cave into was a “joke” about the #MeToo movement during what turned out to be her final pageant.
