EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Police say they have made an arrest in the killing of a former chiropractor found dead in his East Providence home earlier this month.
Police Chief Christopher Parella said in a news release Monday that they had arrested a suspect in the killing of Clive Bridgham. The 67-year-old Bridgham was found dead Jan. 10 and police have said previously that the killing was not random.
Police did not release the suspect’s name, but said the suspect was expected to be arraigned Tuesday.
Bridgham practiced for 30 years and served as a chiropractic sports medicine specialist and director of the Barrington Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Clinic in Barrington. He voluntarily surrendered his license in 2016.
