That’s another blow from former governor Lincoln Chafee aimed at his successor in an interview Wednesday with WPRO’s Tara Granahan.  Chafee adamantly stated he believes the chaos surrounding the UHIP computer system was caused by the Raimondo administration, not the Deloitte company. 

Chafee also described his lunch Monday with Speaker Nick Mattiello, who invited him to the high profile Old Canteen on Federal Hill.  He said they reminisced about working together in the past,  saying “it was a little reminiscence about the days of fiscal discipline and competence from the Executive Branch”.  Chafee stated he had the veal cutlet… but would not confirm (yet) if he will run for governor in 2018.
