PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Police say a 25-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting in Providence, Rhode Island.
Officers say they were called to the scene on Friendship Street around 5:30 p.m. Saturday and found Shawn Montrond with life-threatening injuries. Authorities say another victim was grazed during the shooting.
Police tell WJAR-TV they believe the victims were targeted.
An investigation is ongoing.
