In a wide-ranging interview with WPRO’s Tara Granahan, former governor Lincoln Chafee blasts the current administration on multiple fronts, including the recent outbreaks of violence at the state’s Training School. Chafee said, “we never had these problems…didn’t lose any children”, referring to the recent deaths of children in DCYF care.
While Chafee mulls another run for Governor, he admits to Tara that he spent too much time spent on “Christmas vs. Holiday tree” talk, and that he believes Gov. Gina Raimondo would rather be out fundraising at the Playboy Mansion than in Rhode Island being the state’s leader.
