The embezzlement and forgery trial of Dan Doyle was delayed Monday, a note from his supporters says the head of the Institute for International Sport was hospitalized for unspecified reasons.
Doyle has threatened to wage a hunger strike as the trial enters its sixth week.
A spokesman for the court says jurors were excused after reporting as scheduled this morning. They were told only that there was a personal issue involving one of the parties in the case.
The trial is scheduled for tomorrow, but the court is waiting to hear from defense counsel.
