A Kent County Superior Court judge ordered the closure of Gold’s Gym in East Greenwich on Tuesday afternoon after its owners filed for receivership.
The petition for receivership was filed on December 11. on that same day, Associate Justice Brian P. Stern appointed attorney Theodore Orson as temporary receiver. After testimony today, Judge Stern ordered the business closed at 11 p.m. Tuesday and the assets liquidated.
