PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices have fallen on average three cents in Rhode Island from last week.
AAA Northeast says its weekly survey released on Monday that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen to $2.11 per gallon.
That’s 8 cents more than the national average of $2.03 per gallon.
This time last year the price of gas in Rhode Island was 75 cents more per gallon at $2.86.
Lloyd of AAA Northeast says strong supplies and low oil prices are good news for motorists heading into the holiday season.
