Pawtucket Police report they are actively searching for the man who attempted to rob the Best Way gas station Tuesday night.
According to police a robber entered the gas station on Newport at approximately 9:00p.m. and threatened the clerk with a knife and a gun. The suspect failed to get any money or merchandise and ended up fleeing the business on foot.
The suspect was described as a white male, in his late 20’s with no facial hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants, and black sneakers with white bottoms.
