Providence Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a hit and run car crash which sent a Providence firefighter to the hospital in serious condition.
Lee M. Carrazana, 33, is wanted after he allegedly hit 27-year-old Matthew Gallant’s puckup truck head on; Carrazana left the scene of the accident.
The Associated Press reports it took 30 minutes to free Gallant before he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
Carrazana is described as 5’7”, medium complexion and skinny build, with short black hair. He may be wearing glasses. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Providence Police Traffic Bureau at (401) 243- 6279.
