The Providence Fire Arson Squad along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms are offering a reward for any information regarding an arson which gutted Pearl’s Restaurant last December.
Investigators say the case remains open, but that they are willing to offer $20,000 for information which results in the arrest of the person responsible for setting the fire.
The only piece of evidenced released to the public in the case is a security camera recording of a suspect emptying a five gallon container of flammable liquid onto the entrance of Pearl’s before setting it ablaze.
The restaurant recently reopened with a new look and new name; it is estimated the fire caused $2 million in damage.
