Two men are under arrest in connection to a massive fire which burned Saturday, damaging the vacant former Coughlin School on Pleasant Street in Fall River.
Kristopher Cabral, 27, and Jeffery Aguiar, 24, turned themselves into police one day after investigators obtained information that the two men broke into the school early Saturday morning, hours before the blaze.
The school sustained heavy damage between the first and second floor and partially collapsed the roof. One member of the firefighting team was treated for heat exhaustion.
Both Cabral and Aguiar were charged with breaking and entering, a felony, and both are named as suspects in an arson investigation.
