Central Falls Police announced five more men were arrested and charged for soliciting sex from undercover cops as a part of an ongoing sting operation in the city.
Police say this was the second such “John Sting” in three weeks; the operation involved three female Central Falls Police officers undercover as prostitutes in high traffic areas. According to a release, the operation has resulted in the arrest of 15 men in the past month.
The names and charges of the “Johns” are as follows:
- Jonathan Osorio (23) of New Bedford, Mass. Soliciting from a Motor Vehicle for Indecent Purposes.
- Robert Saroyan (66) of Providence, RI. Soliciting from a Motor Vehicle for Indecent Purposes.
- Augustin Olivares (38) of Revere, Mass. Soliciting from a Motor Vehicle for Indecent Purposes.
- Derek Burns (23) of Attleboro, Mass. Soliciting from a Motor Vehicle for Indecent Purposes.
- Roosevelt White (48) of Providence, RI. Procurement of Sexual Conduct for a Fee
All five individuals are awaiting a future court date of June 17.
