A new report by the NFL says locker room employees of the New England Patriots were guilty of deflating eleven game balls during the AFC championship game against the Colts.
The 243 pages-long report is the result of an internal investigation by criminal law attorney Ted Wells who the NFL hired in the wake of the controversy.
The Wells report exonerates Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft from any wrongdoing; however, it does state the team’s employees were complicit in deflating the footballs and quarterback Tom Brady at least had some knowledge of the incident.
