Two high-profile cases Massachusetts cases have gone to jury as the trials of accused-Boston Marathon Bomber Dzhohkar Tsarnaev and ex-NFL star Aaron Hernandez enter the final lap.
Wednesday marked the second day of jury deliberations in the Marathon Bombing trial. Jurors met for seven hours on Tuesday without reaching any conclusions; at the start of their second day, they asked the judge for clarification on a handful of charges before resuming deliberations.
Jurors in the Aaron Hernandez are meeting for the first time following three hours of closing arguments on Tuesday. Lawyers for Hernandez say the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has no evidence for a motive, while the prosecution says the former Patriots star murdered his friend Odin Lloyd because he knew too much about his personal life.
