PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Rhode Island State Police say they arrested 11 people over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Col. Steven O’Donnell says on Monday that the arrests happened between early Friday morning and 8 a.m. Monday.
Ten were Rhode Island residents and one was from Connecticut.
O’Donnell says additional troopers will be on the roads on St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday.
