Cranston Mayor Allan Fung called into the John DePetro Show on WPRO at 9:30am Tuesday morning with an update for Cranston residents.
“People need to stay home and be with their families” said Fung.
Snow drifts and high winds are making clean-up difficult and drivers staying off the road is essential.
On a morning call with other town mayors and state police this morning, Fung urged the state to keep travel ban in effect as long as possible to help make the road work possible.
“Fortunately, we have not had any major accidents or trees down in Cranston. We’re very lucky.”
