The iconic Providence strip club Cheaters is on its way to reopening under new management and with a new look.
The Providence Journal reports the Board of Licenses transferred management of the club to Christopher Vianello of Biscayne Entertainment, Inc. on Monday. The paper reports Vianello intends to rename the venue as the Wild Zebra.
The club shutdown in Augustus 2013 after a sting operation by police uncovered an underage girl working as a dancer. During its closure the bright pink exterior for which the club was nicknamed was re-painted gray.
It is unknown when the club will reopen.
