A 12-year-old Pawtucket boy remains hospitalized after a Halloween hit-and-run, and his dad is asking the driver to turn himself in.
Dylan Greene was dressed as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters and walking with his family around 9:15 p.m. Friday when he was struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street.
Pawtucket Police say the truck is believed to be a mid-90s model, full-sized Chevorlet pick-up. The vehicle also has damage to the front right light.
WPRI-TV reports he is being treated at Hasbro Children’s Hospital for injuries including a bruised heart, lungs, kidney, and spleen, broken skull, vertebrae, and ribs. He got out of intensive care on Sunday.
Dylan’s father, Stephen, says he understands accidents happen, but whoever hit his son must take responsibility.
