WESTERLY, R.I. (AP) – A Westerly woman remains in critical condition after being struck by a car.
Police say 35-year-old Susan Viveiros is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital.
They say they do not believe alcohol, drugs or speed was a factor. They do not expect to charge 50-year-old Richard Cobleigh of Westerly, who was driving a Subaru Legacy when he struck her.
Police say Viveiros was in the road when she was hit.
