“Lake La Salette.”
It’s what Brother David calls the sprawling flood that occupies the parking lot and portions of the shrine at La Salette in Attleboro.
“We have prime, beachfront property,” said Brother David with a laugh.

Despite his sense of humor, the flooding could be a serious issue. If it doesn’t evaporate soon, Brother David said it could cause serious damage to the parking lot, which could be a pricey repair.
Brother David has only been at La Salette for a couple of years, but one of his fellow brothers said he’s never seen a flood like this in the past 25 years.
