The Gamm Theatre continues their dark comedy, “The Beauty Queen of Leenane.” The performances are superb and the story is enthralling, but be warned: this play is not for children or squeamish adults. Click here for more info and tickets.
Over at Trinity Rep, two “twin” plays, “House” and “Garden” are underway. The plays are separate, the theaters are separate, but the casts are the same. How will they do it? You’ll have to see for yourself.
Epic Theater Company opens their production of “Alice in Wonderland,” set in an insane asylum. The play closes June 8 at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket. Click here for information and tickets.
The Wilbury Theatre group also opens their production of “The Threepenny Opera” this weekend. Wilbury’s new home is the Southside Cultural Center, inside the Trinity Church on Broad Street in Providence – it’s where Trinity Repertory started! The musical closes June 8.
